Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for night shifts, requiring at least 6 months of vascular and echo experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday
• Patient care includes both vascular and echocardiographic imaging
• Occasional weekend day call and one weekend call every 6-7 weeks
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results and communicate findings to physicians or other health professionals
• Alert physicians to urgent problems discovered during imaging
• Applicants living within 50 miles are considered local candidates and may be offered a reduced rate
• No more than 5 days of requested time off can be accommodated
• Former direct employees are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after leaving direct employment
• Orientation for allied travelers begins on Tuesdays

• Minimum of 6 months experience with vascular and echo procedures
• ARDMS certification required if applicable
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Ability to operate imaging equipment and review diagnostic images
